THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF HIGH-QUALITY EARLY LEARNING AND CARE The path to life success is dependent on learning, relationships, physical abiliity, cognitive, behavioral and social emotional learning. The foundation for all these developmental areas start from birth and 90% of a child's brain is developed by age 5. Young children learn wherever they are—home or early learning and care settings—so the quality of those environments matter a great deal.
